DJHDD I stumbled upon Gentleforce via a link from Tim Ritchie & Kinderling radio, I've been listening to a lot drone, ambient field recordings, head music & this particular album has everything needed for a sonic journey & a good lie down. Which I believe Eli Murray intended, it's great to hear a Sydney based artist exploring new territory. Favorite track: You hold my hand through the Gate.

DJ 2 Minute Noodle I realised I had to buy this album about 15 minutes in to "A vessel between two places" as the sun starts to set on a hazy warm autumn sydney afternoon, the music shimmers the same way the light does in my room. Favorite track: A vessel between two places.

about

Some kind words about Refuge from The Great Sadness...

"The depth of emotion on Dissolve Into Fire, with its sunbeams of heat-rippled organ and tumbling piano, verges on unbearable” - Kate Hennesy - The Guardian

“immense and transporting” - IX Tab. (Twiggwytch Records)

“...an incredible album, saturated with emotion; balanced on the tip of critical mass, occasionally thrown into overdrive by sampled punctuation. sublime.” - Esem (m3rck / de:focus records)

"Impeccably produced sounds in touch with both internal spaces and the environment.” - Utility Fog / Peter Hollo (FBi Radio)
